Carmen Aramanda
Interim Director
As the Interim Director of Trinity Entrepreneurship, I'm working to equip students with the freedom and opportunity of entrepreneurship. Across my years of professional experience, the common threads are a love of small business, a passion for helping bring about meaningful change, a belief in the power of mentorship and hands-on experience, and the capability to apply my business knowledge in the development of processes and procedures.
Elizabeth (Liz) Murillo
Assistant Program Manager for Events
As the Assistant Program Manager for Events, Liz is responsible for connecting student entrepreneurs to the San Antonio innovation ecosystem through interdisciplinary programming. She manages all events in the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She leads programs such as the Louis H. Stumberg Venture Competition, events in the Trinity Accelerator and the inaugural StartHER Networking program, to name a few.
Brianna Sanchez
Assistant Program Manager for the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
As the Assistant Programs Manager for the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, she manages and oversees Trinity’s Accelerator Program, the Louis H. Stumberg Venture Competition, and the Venture Mentoring Service, as well as other innovative initiatives sponsored by the CIE.

Billy Freed
Investor in Residence
Billy Freed is a serial entrepreneur turned investor. For over 25 years he has worked with capital formation for numerous ventures, over a wide spectrum of industries, in his role as Principal with Nueces Marketing Partners, Ltd.
Matt Glazer '04
Entrepreneur in Residence
Matt brings a rich and diverse background of working closely with Boards of Directors and nonprofit staff to meet community need with mission alignment and approaches organizational growth with an entrepreneurial mindset. Matt currently serves on the board for The Other Ones Foundation and E4Youth. He has served as the Vice-Chair on the Skillpoint Alliance Board and has been a 10-year volunteer and program designer at the Annette Strauss Institute.

Meghan Garza-Oswald

Course Taught: ENTR 3320: Social Entrepreneurship and Nonprofit Agencies
Meghan Garza-Oswald, M.P.A., M.B.A., has experience spanning from her own strategic development firm focused on serving nonprofits and entrepreneurial start-ups to the White House’s Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation, which provides significant support to non-profit and private sector endeavors at the grass-root level and leverages funds to make an impact on their communities’ most pressing challenges.
Eva Pohler '89

Course Taught: ENTR 2391: Special Topics in Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Eva Pohler, Ph.D., is a 1989 Trinity alumna and a USA Today-bestselling author of over twenty novels in multiple genres. She is highly adept at brand building, developing fan bases, and marketing to a variety of audiences.
Kay Jones
ENTR Professor
Course Taught: ENTR 3340, Design Thinking and Business Model Design
Kay Jones is the former COO of Mac IT Solutions, CEO of Codeup, and led SMB and Enterprise Support and engineering teams while executing initiatives in organizational development at Rackspace. Kay specializes in leadership, career development, as well as workforce planning and engagement and retention strategy, and provides coaching and mentoring services to executives and professionals.
Mike Milan

Mike Milan has over two decades of diverse expertise in strategic planning, finance, and sales. Mike has cultivated the success of 14 startups, solidifying his reputation as a strategic visionary. As an Army Veteran and MBA graduate from Baylor University, he’s written two books, "The 7 Minute Conversation" and "Don’t Be A DUMB Business Owner," both dedicated to unveiling hidden cash within businesses through financial analysis.

Christine Drennon, Ph.D.
Sociology and Anthropology
An associate professor of sociology and anthropology with expertise in urban geography and community development, Drennon seeks to give her students an intense appreciation for where they come from, both historically and geographically, and help them engage in their individual communities once they leave Trinity. Her students often work alongside her in urban research projects throughout the city.
Katsuo A. Nishikawa, Ph.D.
Center for International Engagement
Katsuo Nishikawa focuses on how individuals acculturated under "non-democratic" regimes develop favorable dispositions toward political participation and democracy. At the moment, his work is concentrated on Mexico and its new democracy.
Bladimir Ruiz
Spanish
Bladimir Ruiz grew up in Venezuela, and originally specialized in 19th-century Venezuelan literature and the connection between nationalism and narrative. At Trinity, he has taught all levels of Spanish, and seminars in sexuality, film, and youth identities.
Patrick Shay '03, M'05, Ph.D.
Health Care Administration
Patrick Shay teaches graduate courses on topics including health services organization, organization theory, health policy, health care innovation, and population health management.
Jacob Tingle '95, Ed.D.
Business Administration, Sport Management
Jacob Tingle hopes students leave his classes with the industry knowledge, but also having reflected on the "why" of sport. As students graduate and enter career fields related to sport or simply become parents of kids who play sport, he wants them to consider the social, legal, and ethical ramifications of the sport-related choices they make.
Amy Foshee Holmes, Ph.D.
Accounting
Amy Holmes enjoyed a career in public accounting for almost 30 years before beginning a second career as an accounting professor. She is passionate about mentoring students and providing opportunities for them to be successful in the business world, and her years of experience help me to provide real life examples to engage students in the classroom.
Roberto Prestigiacomo, MFA
Human Communication and Theatre
Roberto Prestigiacomo is a theater-maker whose creative work includes the development of community-based theatre through improvisation and storytelling techniques, and the creation of original physical theater pieces.
Edward Schumacher, Ph.D.
Health Care Administration
Ed Schumacher works primarily in health care labor markets, health economics, labor economics, and quantitative methods.
Dante Suarez, Ph.D.
Finance and Decision Sciences
Suarez studies the integration of international financial markets, such as the relationship between American depositary receipts and their corresponding underlying stocks. Suarez conducts research in complex adaptive systems, exploring the way in which agents interact with each other and their environments.
